Arrival Story:
I was 8 weeks old and was such a poser when mom came to take me home. I pretended to be shy and quiet, but mom loved me anyway! She scooped me up all 12 lbs, cradled me in her arms to the car even sat in the back seat with me on the 2 hour 1/2 car ride home. She fed me water from a yummy chewable water bottle. I arrived at my new home, started to loosen up and I've been happy playful boy ever since.
More about me:
I was potty trained by 3 months old I know sit, down, shake w/both paws and roll over.
How do you like your new place? Lot's to dig and chew up, I hope. I have a goofy doggy story for you. I arrived home (rental home) late Friday night to find a very distraught women (turns out to be a neighbor, Sasha) who lost her little doggy (a Cavalier pup). Sasha was crying uncontrollably when Renee came to the door. We all went out searching for Cocolina for hours (out to 1;30 am), to no avail. We suspected the coyotes got her (happened to another neighbor's dog recently). Sasha was a mess. But then, Renee received a call the next day explaining how Sasha found Cocolina under a night stand (hiding). Wow, how bizarre! Don't let the coyotes get to you, Sherps--I know it's a big problem for a little guy like me being so close to the open hillside.
Awesome! I can't wait to go on a play date. You are probably almost as big as me now. I haven't been to Laguna yet, so that would be great. BTW, I ran into a couple on Main St in HB who have a pretty girl Golden. They want her to have babies & I told them about this site & how handsome you are.
That's an interesting thought, Sherps. We're pretty good pen pals, but I wonder how we'd get along in person (or is that dogson). Hey, are you commenting back correctly? I'm seeing that your comments are left for Cody, not me. Maybe that's why I'm not seeing/responding so frequently. Just check'n.
WOOF WOOF!!! I had a lazy dog day Saturday, mom and Aunt Kristy were shopping all day, but Mom made up for it and took me to this cool spot on Ventura beach Sunday I played in the ocean all day...surfs up I went out pretty far......!! You'll have to sneak me out sometime so I can check out that Laguna Dog Park......don't be a stranger Bij....woof woof
Sherpa, I've missed our barking back-and-forth. But I'll bet you've been keeping busy. I went to the beach over this last weekend and it was great, but I'll tell you, I wish someone would cut off some of this long hair, it's way too hot! Dad even took me to the Laguna doggy park and I got to chase 'round some the hot lil pups there (again, until I got too hot myself....wheh!).
Hey Bij, how was your weekend dude? Mine well it was ok mom had a bunch of friends over all weekend so I got a lil neglected (I just didn't get everything I wanted)....she did sneak me some lemon loaf crust and ham from the party.....woof woof woof!!!!
Surf's up? Grrrrrrrrrowl............, bite me! are you at home close to mom, or hitting the waves (without surf daddy?), digging more holes and scamming on the doggy beach babes?
Nice training on chewing up the place--prepping for the hotel tear-up, awesome..........ruff! Here's a hound hint for you (don't tell mom, though), the more you can't release your aggression with things like tug-of-war, the more you'll want to chew up everything in sight, so go at it, Sherpies (BTW, not sure I like the way that looks when spelled out--lose the 'S' and it's too close to............well).
Sherpa, dude.........we don't do taco tuesday's down in the oc, we do TAQUITO (psst....call me for the correct pronunciation, don't rely on Mom) tuesday's with cadillac margarita's, followed with a wine chaser!
I'll bet mom didn't even remember to give you your gourmet burger. Let me know how the hotel stay is going (I expect to receive dog mail during your away time).
